About me and my page
Who am I?
I’m Hannu Lammi, a human male from Oulu, Finland. I’m a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, I studied Information Technology in Oulu Institute of Technology. After graduation I worked for several years in a R&D lab setting up and managing quite a selection of different kind of server and networking equipment there, and also creating test plans and developing testing environments for testing many kinds of Internet-enabled communications devices. Currently I’m pursuing new challenges on entirely different field: geology.
I can be reached by email at: hpl at iki dot fi

Photo gallery
I’ve been practicing photography for over 10 years, using film cameras until 2005. The photo gallery in hiidenkontti is seriously out of date, containing only photos from my film era. It will hopefully be updated some time in future.
漫筆 (まんぴつ, ma-n-pi-tsu) (n) random jottings
This blog of snapshot photos and random notes does not serve any higher purpose – it’s more like a scrapbook for writing things down for me, my friends close and far and for anyone interested. See the first entry for the original explanation.
Equipment: the lo-fi photos in my blog are shot with Nokia S60 camera phones (various models starting with 7650, currently N81). From time to time I use Canon DSLR or Panasonic DMX-LX3.
